Becket MWN is an artist and writer. He received his MFA from the University of Southern California in 2014 and attended the Rijksakademie residency program in 2016–2017.
Working with sound, performance, sculpture, and text, he has recently exhibited and performed at Bij Cosy at Rongwrong, Amsterdam; SculptureCenter, New York; Root Canal, Amsterdam; How To Show Up?, Amsterdam; Saliva, Barcelona; Vleeshal, Middelburg; One Gee in Fog, Geneva; and the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève. He has presented his writing as Becket Flannery for bologna.cc (NL), Castrum Pelegrini (NL), If I Can’t Dance, I Don’t Want to Be Part of Your Revolution (NL), and Public Fiction (US) among others.
The Chance Event, Wherein… is his first book, forthcoming from Athénée Press. Becket teaches studio practice in the third year of the Fine Arts Department.
