The Library Talks with Textual Feelings (Matty Hemming and Rosie Haward)
Textual Feelings is a monthly-ish podcast, on which hosts Matty Hemming and Rosie Haward discuss queer and feminist writing. Each episode focuses on one book that blurs, or messes with boundaries, be those of form, genre, gender or sexuality. It hopes to celebrate and examine the words that help us live our lives. Books covered so far include The Argonauts by Maggie Nelson and The Lonely City by Olivia Laing.
Matty Hemming recently completed a Masters in Cultural Analysis at the University of Amsterdam and is interested in non-heteronormative literary and theoretical depictions of pregnancy. Rosie Haward has just graduated from the Critical Studies department at the Sandberg Instituut. She writes erotic fiction and is interested in thinking about queer temporalities and the sea.
